NCT 127’s ‘Blingy’ Wins No. 1 on ‘Show! Music Core’ in 10th Anniversary Era

NCT 127 has added another milestone to its 10th-anniversary era.

On the September 5 episode of MBC’s “Show! Music Core,” NCT 127’s latest title track “Blingy” took first place, giving the group a music-show win during promotions for its seventh full-length album.

NCT 127 Wins With 8,741 Points

“Blingy” finished the week with a total score of 8,741 points, placing ahead of ALPHA DRIVE ONE and BIGBANG.

The scoring breakdown included digital and physical sales, broadcast and video scores, pre-voting and live audience voting.

ALPHA DRIVE ONE finished second with 5,284 points, while BIGBANG placed third with 3,117 points.

A Meaningful Win During NCT 127’s 10th Anniversary

The timing makes the win especially meaningful for NCT 127.

The group is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary, and “Blingy” is the title track of the group’s seventh studio album, “BLINGY.”

During the winner’s speech, leader TAEYONG thanked fans and reflected on receiving an important trophy during such a symbolic year for the group.

“Blingy” Continues Its Music-Show Run

NCT 127 has been promoting “Blingy” across major Korean music programs, including “M Countdown,” “Music Bank,” “Show! Music Core” and “Inkigayo.”
