BTS is back at No. 1 — and the latest Global K-Songs chart shows just how crowded the top of the global K-pop race has become.
BTS’ hit single “SWIM” has taken the No. 1 position on the Billboard Korea Global K-Songs chart dated September 5, 2026.
The latest ranking puts BTS ahead of KATSEYE, music from Netflix’s “KPop Demon Hunters,” and ENHYPEN.
🔥 BTS’ “SWIM” Takes No. 1
Released in March as the lead single from BTS’ fifth studio album “ARIRANG,” “SWIM” has remained one of the biggest Korean pop songs of 2026.
The alternative-pop track originally made a massive U.S. debut, entering the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 1.
That achievement made “SWIM” BTS’ seventh Hot 100 chart-topper, joining hits including “Dynamite,” “Butter,” “Life Goes On,” “Permission to Dance” and “My Universe.”
🌎 The Global K-Songs Top 5
The September 5 ranking brings together some of the biggest names and songs currently driving Korean pop culture worldwide.
🥇 #1 — BTS — “SWIM”
🥈 #2 — KATSEYE — “Animal”
🥉 #3 — HUNTR/X — “Golden”
#4 — KATSEYE — “Hootie Frutti”
#5 — ENHYPEN — “Bloody Paradise”
KATSEYE Lands Two Songs in the Top 5
KATSEYE has an especially strong showing this week.
The group’s “Animal” sits directly behind BTS at No. 2, while “Hootie Frutti” takes No. 4.
Having two songs simultaneously inside the Top 5 adds to KATSEYE’s rapidly expanding presence in the global pop market.
“Golden” Is Still Going Strong
The phenomenon surrounding Netflix’s “KPop Demon Hunters” also refuses to disappear.
“Golden,” performed by HUNTR/X members EJAE, AUDREY NUNA and REI AMI, remains at No. 3.
Its continued chart presence demonstrates how the animated film’s soundtrack has developed a life far beyond the movie itself.
ENHYPEN Enters the Top 5 With “Bloody Paradise”
ENHYPEN’s latest title track “Bloody Paradise” rounds out the Top 5.
The song comes from the group’s new album “THE SIN : BLISS,” which has already given ENHYPEN a major breakthrough in the United States.
The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, giving ENHYPEN its first-ever chart-topper on the U.S. albums chart.
“SWIM” Has Been One of BTS’ Biggest Global Hits
BTS’ latest No. 1 adds another chapter to an already remarkable run for “SWIM.”
The song debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 earlier this year and also spent multiple weeks at the top of Billboard’s global charts.
Months after its March release, “SWIM” remains at the center of the global K-pop conversation.
A Snapshot of K-Pop in 2026
This week’s Top 5 also tells a bigger story.
BTS represents the continuing power of one of K-pop’s biggest global acts. KATSEYE is rapidly building a new international audience. “KPop Demon Hunters” has turned an animated soundtrack into a worldwide music phenomenon, while ENHYPEN continues its rise in the U.S. market.
Different generations and different forms of K-pop are now competing for the same global audience — and BTS is back on top this week.
