BLACKPINK’s LISA and JISOO Drop Solo Singles on the Same Day — ‘SaWaDiKa’ and ‘CLICK’ Are Here

BLACKPINK fans got a rare double release as LISA and JISOO launched new solo singles on the same day.

On September 4, LISA released “SaWaDiKa” at 9 a.m. KST, followed four hours later by JISOO’s “CLICK” at 1 p.m. KST. The releases arrive only about a month after BLACKPINK celebrated its 10th debut anniversary.

LISA Says “SaWaDiKa” to the World

“SaWaDiKa” takes its title from the familiar Thai greeting for “hello” and puts LISA’s Thai roots front and center.

The hip-hop-driven track serves as a pre-release single from LISA’s upcoming EP “PRESS PLAY,” scheduled for release on October 23.

Sony Music says the track was produced by Thom Bridges and production duo Ojivolta, whose previous credits include work connected to artists such as ROSÉ and Lil Nas X.

The song gives LISA plenty of room to showcase the sharp rap delivery and performance style that have become central to her solo identity.

Thailand Takes Center Stage in LISA’s MV

The “SaWaDiKa” music video also acts as a major showcase for Thailand.

Bangkok’s historic Hua Lamphong railway station appears prominently, along with imagery connected to Thai culture, fashion, tuk-tuks and Muay Thai.

The video made an immediate impact online. Thai media reported that it surpassed 1 million YouTube views within its first hour and reached about 1.93 million views within two hours of release.

JISOO Begins a New Solo Chapter With “CLICK”

Just hours after LISA’s release, JISOO returned with “CLICK.”

According to her agency BLISSOO, the song captures the instant attraction between two people who may come from completely different worlds but naturally “click” when they meet.

“CLICK” is the first pre-release single ahead of JISOO’s first full-length solo album.

It marks another major step in JISOO’s solo career following her previous releases, including her 2025 EP “AMORTAGE.”

Joseph Kahn Directs JISOO’s Cinematic MV

JISOO partnered with acclaimed music video director Joseph Kahn for the “CLICK” visual.

Kahn has previously worked with global stars including Taylor Swift and Eminem.

The “CLICK” music video places JISOO in a fairytale-like, futuristic world, with a narrative centered around loneliness, connection and unexpected companionship.

Two BLACKPINK Members, Two Very Different Solo Directions

What makes the double release especially interesting is how differently the two members approach their solo identities.

LISA’s “SaWaDiKa” leans into hip-hop, performance and her Thai heritage, while JISOO’s “CLICK” focuses on a cinematic pop concept built around romantic connection.

Together, the releases underline how BLACKPINK’s members continue to expand individually while remaining connected to one of the biggest K-pop groups in the world.

BLACKPINK’s Solo Era Keeps Growing

LISA and JISOO releasing new music within hours of each other gives BLINKs twice as much to follow — and adds even more momentum to BLACKPINK’s already busy 10th-anniversary year.

LISA’s next major release arrives with “PRESS PLAY” on October 23, while additional details about JISOO’s first full-length solo album are expected to follow.
