ALPHA DRIVE ONE Scores 2nd ‘BORN DIRE’ Win on Show Champion

ALPHA DRIVE ONE is keeping the momentum going with another music show victory for “BORN DIRE.”

The rookie boy group claimed first place on the September 2 episode of Show Champion, earning their second music show trophy for their latest title track.

The nominees for first place on this week’s episode were ALPHA DRIVE ONE’s “BORN DIRE,” BIGBANG’s “BiiiG,” NCT 127’s “Blingy,” NEXZ’s “SAUCIN’,” and SF9’s “Without Wings.”

ALPHA DRIVE ONE ultimately took home the trophy, adding another milestone to the group’s fast-moving comeback era.

Two Wins in Two Days

The Show Champion victory comes just one day after ALPHA DRIVE ONE earned their first music show win for “BORN DIRE” on SBS M’s The Show.

On September 1, the group competed against OURBIRTHDAY’s “SQUEEZY” and SF9’s “Without Wings” and finished in first place with a perfect 12,000 points.

That means “BORN DIRE” has now collected two music show trophies on consecutive days.

The “BORN DIRE” Era Is Building Momentum

“BORN DIRE” is the title track from ALPHA DRIVE ONE’s second mini album, UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST, released on August 24.

The song brings together elements of British rave and punk with an explosive, performance-driven sound that showcases a more intense side of the group.

The comeback has also delivered strong physical sales. According to Hanteo Chart, UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST sold 1,139,747 copies during its first week from August 24 through August 30.

It became ALPHA DRIVE ONE’s second album to surpass one million first-week sales, following their debut mini album EUPHORIA.

Who Performed on Show Champion?

The September 2 broadcast also featured performances from NEXZ, KISS OF LIFE, SF9, TNX, AEN, iii, OURBIRTHDAY, ALL(H)OURS, TEMPEST’s Hanbin, ONEWE, Splayit, AtHeart, and Mashiro.

ALPHA DRIVE ONE performed both “Diamond Hour” and “BORN DIRE” during the show before celebrating their latest win.
