BLACKPINK’s LISA Teases ‘SaWaDiKa’ With Muay Thai and Tuk-Tuk Visuals Ahead of September Release

LISA is bringing unmistakably Thai imagery into her next solo era.

The BLACKPINK star has unveiled new promotional visuals for her upcoming single “SaWaDiKa”, combining Muay Thai-inspired styling with one of Thailand’s most recognizable symbols: the tuk-tuk.

LISA Brings Muay Thai Into the “SaWaDiKa” Era

New promotional images show LISA in a contemporary take on Muay Thai styling, including boxing-inspired clothing personalized with her name.

Rather than recreating traditional fightwear literally, the campaign mixes combat-sport references with a sleek fashion-forward aesthetic.

A Tuk-Tuk Becomes Part of the Visual Concept

Another newly released visual places LISA alongside a blue-and-red tuk-tuk, giving the campaign another direct connection to Thailand.

The combination of Muay Thai, Thai transportation and global pop styling gives “SaWaDiKa” a visual identity closely tied to LISA’s background.

What Does “SaWaDiKa” Mean?

The title is a stylized reference to the Thai greeting “sawasdee ka.”

LISA has previously incorporated Thai imagery into her solo work, and this new campaign continues to bring elements of her heritage into her global solo identity.

When Is “SaWaDiKa” Released?

“SaWaDiKa” is scheduled for release on September 3 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT, corresponding to the morning of September 4 in Thailand.

The song will serve as the first single from LISA’s upcoming six-track EP PRESS PLAY, scheduled for release on October 23, 2026.
