KATSEYE’s ‘WILD’ Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard 200 — Their First Chart-Topping Album

KATSEYE has officially reached No. 1.

The global girl group's third EP, WILD, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, giving KATSEYE their first chart-topping album in the United States.

WILD earned 170,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. during the week ending August 20, according to Billboard and Luminate.

Of that total, 145,000 units came from traditional album sales, helping KATSEYE secure the biggest Billboard 200 achievement of their career so far.

A Major Jump From “Beautiful Chaos”

KATSEYE previously reached the Billboard 200 Top 10 with Beautiful Chaos, which peaked at No. 4 in 2025.

With WILD, the group has now made the jump all the way to the top of the chart just two years after their 2024 debut.

Another Milestone for Girl Groups

WILD is also one of only a handful of albums by all-female groups to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200 during the 2020s.

The achievement puts KATSEYE alongside BLACKPINK, NewJeans and TWICE, whose albums have also topped the chart this decade.

Released on August 14, 2026, WILD is KATSEYE's third EP and marks the beginning of a new era for the six-member global girl group.

The project continues KATSEYE's rapid international rise following their formation through the HYBE and Geffen Records partnership.

With their first Billboard 200 No. 1 now secured, WILD represents one of the biggest milestones of KATSEYE's career so far.
